I still plan to do the migration of GUICMS to PYGUICMS. Sure, there seems to be nothing changed at this time. And this is near true.

Our kid is born. I have got a new job... The situation is so that i have lesser time right now. And I'm near sure that i would be have much lesser the coming days.

My PYGUICMS is completely stalled. There"s still many things left to do before i can get it online. Honesty, there's really many work that may need to be done. I want a least, all the features i already had + some much more :-p And that's just the big problem. I first need to convert my PHP toys to Python, plus creating/modifying these i want too.

There's many work to on the data. The data/articles i already wrote. Some(many) articles are just drafts that i need to correct and complete. That's why i still continue to work on the GUICMS. Especially to the markdown syntax features.

I have implement the PHP markdown syntax to the GUICMS project. Cause some time i quick want to add/modify an article.

This way will help me much more to have a generic markup syntax. It is the same! :-p I'm then more flexible to add/merge these data to the future PYGUICMS.

So, i may say, just be patient :-p

After having implement an anti-spammer system when adding a comment, i still get spam messages. It looks like the dude do the stuff manually now. So i have decided to blacklist the bastards that still spam on the guicms. So that these people should be able to do any communication with the webserver and other services. EVERYTHINGS are blocked for those ip that are blacklisted. Actually there are 26 ip's that are blacklisted. Here's the f* bastards list:

If you know any owner of this ip, maybe someone is abusing it. I have the feeling that the same spammer use differents many differents ip addresses. Like every spam is mostly one of these 26 know ip's.

Happy new year GUICMS, maybe better late than never. Here your cadeau, bit of viagra, bit off sad medications, and as bonus some casino crap. Yeah, it's now long time ago again. If i wrote somethings right now, it's to tell about somethings. I got be spammed by a f* spammer, many viagra, illagal medication, casino stuff and such crap. Nothings to do or related to the articles where it was send too. Yeah die f* spammer, die!

It was now some 2 days, i got some spam message. The first day i have got 2 or 3 messages, the next day, a verry little bit more, and the thirght day, today, i was been bombarded by a bastard. Yeah, got many unwanted message on the articles comments. Not ask me what there's nice to do be spamming the stuff.

So i had need to block the access of the webserver, and have only leave access for the local network. Had need to look to the log files. I have work this afternoon for a little anti spammer system 'capcha'. I have splend more time to finding an nice an plugable way. And to figuring out why on my webserver it not worked and why on my laptop it worked. Had missing the php4-gd pacage :-) Someone on ##php tolde me to search about "capcha" on google, and that's what i did. So from now, if you want to add a coment to an article, there's just one field more to fill now. THANKS to the spammers!

I have work on the module installer system. The beta module installer been work near i want right now. Many modules that was located in the '../html/ontools_links' are been moved to '../modules/' and with an system to install that module. The installer add some data in the database so that the module are been incorporated in the GUICMS website. We can easy deinstall that module with the same interface.

There is still need to work on the module installer admin section system. The module installer need for example to check if the module is already installed or not. Also the layout need to be done, like actually it's not yet beautifull and the module management interface is to basic.

The beta installer system is completely done right now. It's now working near i want. Now it's possible to install the GUICMS project completely with the webinterface. The needed users are created with the interface. Many little bugs are fixed on it. Like i had discover that the installer werbinterface no more wored. Sure i still need to work on it and fix some little thing on it. But i think it can already be used as experimental. But in another way, im not ready to make some upgrades, when someone have already install it. Like i still missing some knowledges that i need about /upgrading/ data in the MySQL database. I hope i quick get the needed knowledges about it.

This sunday, the HDD of my little server have die. Server are used as gateway/router and at the same time as webserver with MySQL. Like that HDD of that computer did already some strange noise some time. I was still waiting the death of it. There was also many test stuff on it; like many CMS that i have test and had put on that server. The plone test environmet is also gone in the cyberspace. My important data on it, i had still an backup of it. So don't worry.

I have put anothe old noise HDD in the server. An little HDD of 6 GB. The same as before in other words. So actually the server are completely reinstalled. The GUICMS are again up and running on it. I estimate the life of that HDD a bit more of 2 years, like i begin to get many experience with old used HDD's. Like this one looks a bit lesser used as the previous HDD.

I have debug a bit many page and get it more w3m compliant. At this time the GUICMS are still not nice viewable with the Dillo browser. I have get the view now many better as before but i still get an strange layout trouble with that dillo browser. In an way the solution looks be simply to resolve like there are an missing </td>. But it is realy not like expected. I need to splend again some time to debug these pages, like i have remove many errors and so that there are no one error left and 100% w3m compliant.

I need to splend some time to make an good logo for the GUICMS. I have already make an _simple text logo_  if we can call it so. I have replace that debian logo with an image with the text GUICMS so that it a bit more reflect of the logo of this project. Just that i need to splend many more time to create an logo for it. At this time i have splend many more time to try to find an great howto make an logo with Gimp. Like it's again long time i have no more used Gimp, i have forget the basic usage of it. But i have not really many time to learn Gimp at full time again. I want to play with PHP and Python. But there is really need to make an great logo, like that would reflect the image of the GUICMS project. So i need quick learn Gimp again.

The actual size of the GUICMS when exported at revision 33 of the subversion reposition is 2.3 MB. The files i go to upload, like al the stuff of the FCKeditor will blow it a bit up :-/ That FCKeditor module that i go to add is 3,3 MB oegf :-/ And only that FCKmodule. I have already remove many files of that FCKeditor near the 2,6 MB but i not get that module size lesser. I hope i have not remove to many files of it. Arg, but i have move these files to another folder and i gona see if i got troubles, then i set these needed missing file again if realy needed.

It's time that i commit all my new changes, like there are many new features added, bugs fixed and so. But i like an big new revision. Like i'm alone on that project it not really does matter that it's an to big revision, like there are no one that go to check it. I just wait that i terminate some things, like that 'sync_data.py' script that i'm working on it. It already do the job right now, it's not like previously. But i'm still working on it so that he compress the data also. And like that script is not more only an syncronisation script, but at the same time an mysql database backuper. I think i need to split in 2 files. Like the case can be very differ. But i'm to exigent, like when i syncronisate the data, i want that he make an backup of the data of the remote host at the same time. At this stage i think i go to make an script that syncronisate the data and backup it before doing the job, and then also an simply script that only do the backup of the database. But that least i gona do when my sync_data.py script are done, like it's almost the same code i go to use, but with lesser things.

I have still work a bit on the content of the GUICMS. Like i have recently implement that WYSIWYG editor. I need to learn that FCKeditor many more, but also like an user. I have discover that there are some little bugs with it. Like for example if we begin to write the content of an article with an single quote ('). I have discover it in the 'screen' article. When i try to send the content of the article with that single quote and send the data, it's looks that the WYSIWYG editor not send that data, like it's looks that he hang. But it still send the data like.

I had also an need to modify the content of some articles. Like i have messed some with that <a name="anchor"> that i had make it bad. So most of the articles are now solved. But there is still some work to do.

I have still take Python back. Still reading back the Python Documentation. So probably i going to give lesser time to this GUICMS. Or maybe, like i need some usefull tools also for this GUICMS. Like an little external system to backup the data of the database. What i have almost already write in Python, just need to finish that script. But i thinking to write other little stuff that can be usefull for the GUICMS.

I need to finish some alpha things of the GUICMS so that i can finaly put it publicly avalaible. I need also to give more time to that Subversion system. I need to learn about it how that i can make an external access of it. Not directly to put it worldwide accesible, at first instance to make it accesible in my interne network. Thinking to my laptop for example.

So there are still some things to do ;-p So i not take it no more to long ;-)
