This page talk about the projects i'm working on or have. This list is really not complete and only list the projects that may be interesting. Old projects are not listed here, some are trashed or in the archives.

Active projects

PYGUICMS

The PYGUICMS has replaced the GUICMS project. The PYGUICMS is still not completely build and is now in testing phase. I'm still fixing some minor bugs and add some last missing features. You can take a look on pyguicms and the pyguicms-dev development version. See also the pyguicms project page and the draft presentation presentation.

r00t

The r00t web project is what you are currently viewing. This website is the r00t project. Just a basic dynamic website written in Python. Mostly used as personal website where the most important sections is the other stuff and the projects. See the r00t project page.

vds

The vds, aka Video Database System is a web interface written in python with the TurboGears framework to manage video's. The goal is to automatically filling informations from the IMDB. See the vds project for more informations.

pcshop

The pcshop is a web interface written in python with the TurboGears framework to manage an e-shop. See the pcshop project for more informations.

PyElpDesck

This is a call and incident web management tool written for helpdesk agents.
PyElpDesck is a brand new python project i started after some years of helpdesk tools usage. This tool is based on different tools i used in the past and try to take all the nice features of each tool. This tool is very complex and is still in draft phase, no decent interface is written yet and i can't show some screenshots right now!

Bashed-LFS-install

This is a bash script to automate a LFS Linux From Scratch installation. This project is stalled because it contains some bugs and i not find the time to continue to work on this. I don't have that much time anymore to play with Linux From Scratch procedures. I hoop soon to continue to play with this nice stuff. See the Bashed-LFS-Install project page.

PYthon SYStem STatS

This is a web.py project, similar to phpsysstats. This project is still young and the themes needs to be written. At this stage, this stuff is ways to ugly and looks not that nice and too basic.

Supybot tools

The supybot tools are mostly some plugins for the bot scratchi on the #debian-nl channel on the Freenode irc network. See the scratchi page for more info.

Old projects

GUICMS

The GUICMS was mainly build to publish articles, links and little online tools like the dict, the bible, ip, etc. I don't plan to work on the GUICMS code anymore. The data has been migrated and used in another tool, the PYGUICMS. The GUICMS project is not even viewable (at the same location) on the World Wide Web anymore. See the GUICMS project page.

pyStaticGallery

This project is classed inactive because it's long time ago that i have take a look at it. I'm even not sure that i have keep the latest version. All i remember is that i have killed the 0.0.6 version just before the release of it. I hope soon that this project become again active.

Video database

This was a database created with Microsoft Access 2000 that contained my personal video collection. There was an easy custom search tool that permited to search on movie name, genre, type of media (DVD, K7, VCD, SVCD, and whatever you defined). There was an easy way to search on authors and get a list of the movies the played in. Searching on language, sub-titles etc. An listing of the collection could be printed and even basic covers for the movies. Microsoft Word were used for this last.

FAQ database

This was a database created with Microsoft Access 2000 that contained the Frequently Asked Questions and ICT procedures. The goal was to centralize all the informations. We, but mostly, I used this tool at one of my previous job.

All problems, questions where logged into this database. It was easy to find back some information with the search tool. The system also included an nice style printed mode.

CP database

This was a database created with Microsoft Access 2000 that contained all the Belgian postal codes. In the past, i had much need to work with postal codes and wanted to build me a little custom tool. This was a very beautiful basic tool, build Just For Fun(tm).

There were no much features, just a basic list with a search feature based on the postal code or the commune. This tool is so outdated now and the data may need to be verified one be one.

Projects want to work on

• An apache log analyzer. Somethings like awstats but more detailed and on the fly. For example be able to do some search based on host and display result per hour, day, week etc.
